Digital Ads Manager

Role Overview:

You’ll be a part of our Digital Ads & Analytics department to lead the digital strategy for our local and national clients to succeed. You will be managing and coaching our Digital Analyst.

The primary focus of this role is to manage and optimize the digital ad channels for our clients and agency as well as the digital analytics for all channels. The channels would include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, and other online publishers. 

Role Description:

This role includes the strategy & planning, implementation, management, and analysis of all digital ads. Each client will have defined benchmarks and goals that you will be responsible to achieve with the help of the team of strategists, client services, analysts, and designers.

The Marketing Analysis responsibility is an important one in our data-driven marketing agency. You will be responsible for not only reporting but presenting insights you discover in order to provide recommendations and solutions. This is both in written form and occasionally presenting to clients or team members.

Other responsibilities that are nice-to-haves are SEO, Local Directory Management, and copywriting for ads and landing pages. Keyword strategy is inherent in our Digital Ads programs, however that will also be part of the role for our website development efforts.

We will also be looking for someone with managerial experience and/or the ability to coach others as you will not be alone in this department, working alongside a Digital Analyst. Ability to work within our project management system (Wrike) is critical to the success of our streamlined production efforts.

Responsibilities:

Paid Media

Manage all aspects of paid digital campaigns that includes search, display, and PLAs, such as:

  • Proper building and setup of campaigns
  • Daily check-ins to make sure all campaigns are performing properly
  • Execute changes requested by clients and strategists
  • Ensure budgets are setup and paced properly
  • Monitor Google Merchant Center for our Google Shopping clients
  • Continually review, analyze, and optimize based on best practices
  • Review & optimize online media campaigns to ensure we achieve client goals
  • Ensure we provide an ROI for all paid search and display campaigns
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on your analysis
  • Support sales to provide budget recommendations and research

SEO Services

Provide all local and national SEO efforts for our clients and agency, such as:

  • On-site SEO and ensuring the web content matches user intent and search engines
  • Off-page SEO and Technical SEO, such as proper indexing, use of headers, meta data, etc.
  • Content optimization for SEO purposes so it can be a driver of traffic
  • Keyword analysis and research to drive marketing strategies and search tactics
  • Monitor and analyze Google Search Console and perform or delegate tasks where necessary
  • Monitor and analyze Google My Business and perform or delegate tasks where necessary
  • Utilize the tools you have at your disposal to provide the best SEO services to our clients and strategies to our team

Reporting, Data Analysis, Attribution

  • Manage the search engine marketing and analytics reporting process for all clients
  • Set up, manage, and continually optimize each client’s Google Data Studios dashboard
  • Manage each client’s Google Analytics account
  • Review and analyze all analytics, providing insight and recommendations based on findings
  • Set up and manage conversion actions for all clients, including phone tracking, UTMs, goal completions, etc. utilizing tools and software like Google Tag Manager & call tracking
  • Ensure proper attribution of all marketing efforts to results

Role Compensation:

The Digital Ads Manager t is a full-time role (40-hour-per-week), with a salary range of $55,000-$75,000 depending on experience and skill set. We are working in a hybrid remote & in-office environment at our Downtown Providence office.
